Pawan Kumar Chandana 

Pawan is the Co-Founder and CEO of Skyroot Aerospace, India’s leading space-tech enterprise, and a scientist-turned-space entrepreneur. Skyroot is a National Award-winning pioneer in designing and building space launch vehicles in the Indian private space sector. It is led by its vision of opening space for all by making space flights affordable, reliable and regular. An alumnus of IIT – Kharagpur with Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and Masters in Thermal Science and Engineering, Pawan is featured in Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia and named among the next 100 young achievers by India Today. Pawan is a speaker, mentor and thought leader in the space sector, and writes for leading publications. In November 2022, he, along with his co-founder, Bharath Daka, led Skyroot to become the first private company in India and South Asia to successfully launch a privately built rocket to space.
