Jayesh Parekh

Jayesh is a CoFounder of Sony Entertainment Television, a major Indian television network of Sony, which he successfully exited in 2013.

He was one of the Managing Partners in Jungle Ventures in Singapore, which is a SE Asia technology fund that has AUM of a billion dollars.

Jayesh is a Managing Partner of Good Protein Fund, a venture capital fund in Singapore that invests worldwide in Alternative Protein companies. The fund invests in deep-technology early-stage plant based, cultivated meat and fermentation companies.

He spent over 12 years in sales at IBM in Houston and Singapore. He was part of the team that brought IBM back to India.

Jayesh was one of the early investors in Aavishkaar, an impact venture capital fund in India that has a billion dollars under management. He is an investment committee member in 2 Aavishkaar VC funds.

He is an Advisory Board member of Akhand Jyoti Eye Hospital, a non-profi based in Bihar. Akhand Jyoti performed 90,000 cataract operations last year, 80% of them for free. They are well known for their ‘Football to Eyeball’ gender diversity program.

Jayesh holds a Bachelors degree from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda and a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He is an IIT Kgp and IIM Calcutta drop out.
